Many organizations are tired of team building courses that do nothing to make their staff more effective in their daily work and sometimes even create negative competition between their staff, leaving them less unified than before the program.  As they spend money on these programs, they are left with staff who are no more efficient than they were before and often times still disgruntled and eager to take job offers from other companies.  This causes organizations like yours to spend even more money and time training replacement staff for these newly “motivated” staff who no longer work for you. 

At BlueSky Adventures, we do things differently.  We will do a needs analysis of your organization to determine the strong points and weak points within your staff and use this information to build your organization a unique program that meets your specific needs. 

Our primary tool for office team building exercises is our Challenge Course. Located at Lukenya Getaway in Athi River, the BlueSky Adventures Challenge Course is a fun, safe environment that will allow your staff to experience quality change and a perfect tool to help your team move from where you are to where you want to be.

Many organizations are frustrated with low quality leadership courses that fail to equip leaders with the vital skills they need to champion and inspire the organization’s staff.  Unlike other leadership seminars, BlueSky Adventures will help you create leaders people want to follow with our Adventures In Leadership Course.  This one to three day Challenge Course provides an experiential approach to the Servant Leadership model laid out in the book “The Secret: What Great Leaders Know and Do”.  Co-authored by Mark Miller, Vice President of Chick-fil-A Training and Development and consultant Ken Blanchard, the secret revealed is in how great leaders S-E-R-V-E. If your group is looking to experience change in a new and adventurous way, our Adventure Trips program provides just what you are looking for.  Many people who live in Nairobi experience very little of the adventure that is available just a couple hours drive from home.  By taking part in this program your team can have a custom made adventure that takes advantage of all of the adventure East Africa has to offer.  Our programs include Rafting on the Nile River, Rock Climbing at Hell’s Gate, and Climbing Mount Kenya.

Are you looking to equip your prefects or community leaders with the skills they need to impact others around them?  Our Leadership Development Program is designed to meet the specific needs of young leaders.  Using our Challenge Course, we narrow our focus and spend more time developing self-confidence, enhancing communication skills, and equipping young leaders to hande conflicts that might arise, preparing them for leadership positions among their peers.

Any school or organization that is serious about developing their students to have a positive impact on the world today must also take the development of their teachers and staff seriously.  Professionals in these demanding jobs must be willing to invest in the lives of students outside of the classroom, making an unforgettable imprint in the lives of students by teaching important life skills not found in a textbook.  By choosing less vigorous activities, we use our Challenge Course to help teachers and staff strengthen relationships and equip them with skills needed to improve interactions with students and other staff.

This term long class helps expose students to the outdoors and encourages them to find outdoor activities they enjoy and want to continue after the class is finished.  It can include exposure to our Challenge Course activities, knot tying, backpacking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, orienteering, and basic wilderness survival skills.  Depending on the amount of time available, location, and age of the students we are able to design a program that can give them just a taste of the outdoors or help them dive in and really experience all the outdoors has to offer.
