The Challenge Course Program
What is involved in the Challenge Course Program?
After contacting us for our Challenge Course Program, a thorough assessment of your team and its needs will take place prior to your course ensuring that we create a program that is best suited for your team. We also provide a proper follow-up procedure to ensure that what you learn on our course is transferred into your work and personal lives.
Field Initiatives
(Activities taking place on the ground)
The first phase of the Challenge Course, which can take place at just
about any location, consists of various ice-breaking activities and
other comfortable activities designed to enable each team member to
learn more about the other members of the team he/she will be working
with and trusting throughout the program. This phase also includes
more transitional activities, which also take place on the ground.
They enable each participant to become more comfortable trusting his
or her team members in low-risk activities as the day moves towards
more intense problem solving activities.
- Getting To Know Each Other Better
- Trusting Team Members
Low Challenge Course Activities
(Activities taking place one-half to 1 meter off the
ground on cables/ropes/raised platforms)
Here we begin the more intense problem solving activities. These activities enable team members to realize how roles differ on teams, how strengths can be utilized, and how weaknesses can be eliminated. The team will be encouraged to seek and set goals using strategic planning and implementation. The team will find this phase challenging, yet very enjoyable as they attempt to combine their resources in a way that best benefits the team.
- Setting & Reaching Goals
- Defining Your Role
- Utilizing Team Strengths
- Eliminating Team Weaknesses
High Challenge Course Activities
(Activities occurring 10 to 15 meters off the ground)
The high-ropes activities are the perfect conclusion to the experience of team building and trust building. These activities allow the team to see how encouragement and celebration play a major role in a successful organization. The activities also allow each team member to realize the importance he/she has in the team, providing a fitting end to the program.
- Your Importance To Your Organization
- Encouraging One Another
- Celebrating Together
