Our Philosophy
About Us
Created in 2001, BlueSky Adventures provides the most comprehensive experiential training program in the region through extensive challenge course facilities, creative programming options, and seasoned staff members. In every program we run our staff seeks to live out our values of Safety, Service, Integrity, and Stewardship. We also have 3 “rules” that we ask all of our participants to follow, we like to consider them our rules as well.
- Have Fun – We believe change happens when people have fun together. By providing a contagious staff who love what they do, we ensure our clients have fun during their time with us.
- Play Safe - Our clients’ safety is a top priority for us. Our commitment can be seen in our highly trained and qualified staff. Our equipment and structures are inspected annually and are kept up to Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) standards.
- Experience Changes – With each program we run, we want every person to leave different than they were when they arrived, including our staff. We are confident that our staff’s desire to learn and grow will have a positive impact on those who come through our program.
What is Experiential Learning/Training?

Experiential Learning/Training is the foundation for all that we do. It is basically, learning through experience. We strive to create a safe atmosphere where you can learn, grow, and change in order to maximize you and your team’s potential. We accomplish this by facilitating fun and adventurous activities at varying levels of intensity based on each organizations needs, goals, and objectives.
The Experiential Learning Process
Each program is designed to take participants through the experiential learning process, which begins with an experience. Then the experience is explored by making observations about what happened and reflecting on what it means to you and your team. The process continues throughout the program, as participants make new applications from one activity to the next. The process culminates with the opportunity for everyone to discuss what they have learned and make applications to their lives and to their organization.
Our Staff
Our full time staff and our base of facilitators create an integral piece of who we are. Together we have logged almost 30 years of experiential training. Members of our staff have traveled to North, Central, and South America, Europe, Asia, and throughout Africa, creating a respect for cultural diversity that strengthens our program.
